Introducing Paul and Peggy Schlieker and their Bible Study Lessons
We have a heart to provide easy to use, practical Bible study lessons that can be used in a variety of settings - both inside and outside of the church building. We teach and disciple seekers, new believers and seasoned followers. Our simple approach is, "if you can read it - you can lead it."
We attend Christ Community Church in Omaha, Nebraska. Professionally, Paul is an insurance agent and Peggy has a piano studio. Paul enjoys Nebraska football, golf, and reading Christian books - especially the classics. Peggy likes to play the piano, sew, knit, and read mysteries. Together we enjoy traveling - especially to wherever our two daughters live - which has taken us to Africa, China, as well as closer United States' destinations.
We both taught
Sunday School
for many years, usually writing our own lessons. We enjoy small group and one-on-one discipling. Paul trains small group leaders, speaks at
conferences and retreats,
and occasionally
preaches.
The seeds for our Bible study lessons came from our own felt needs
In 2001 we began a weekly ministry with Chinese students, researchers and business professionals living in Omaha. At that time, we quickly realized that there are very few resources designed for people who don't have a Christian background. To meet this need, we wrote
Bible Basics,
to introduce the major beliefs of Christianity. It is available in English and Spanish.
is a more in-depth study of basic Christian truths illustrated with over fifty humorous and inspirational stories.
Lastly, we wrote
Kingdom-Driven Discipleship
to train seasoned believers to make disciples wherever they live, work, and play.

Since we most enjoy small group ministry, we've included discussion questions on most of our lessons.
